HABLAMOS DE LONDRES

El lunes nos visitó la prima de Sergio, Sandra, recién llegada de Londres. Allí se fue a estudiar inglés, pero también estuvo buscando trabajo. Nos contó su experiencia, y que se volverá a ir esta semana. Nos transmitió la importancia de saber inglés, para que en el futuro se nos abran puertas, y nos animó a seguir estudiando como hasta ahora.

WONDERS OF THE WORLD

        There are seven wonders in the world, but we think there are many more of them in all of the countries. In Spain, for example, we have "The  Holy Family Cathedral", " The Prado Museum"...
In France, we have got "The Eiffel Tower". In Russia, we have " The Red Square", and " The Niagara Waterfalls in America.
In Norway, we can see "The Norweigan Fyords" and in Egypt we can find the incredible pyramids.
In North America, there is an enormous canyon called " The grand Colorado canyon".
"The Pisa Tower",in Italy, is waiting for us, and if you go to New York you can visit "The Statue of Liberty"
If you like the arqueology, you need to go to "Chichen Itza" in Mexico. It is a mayan ruin monument.
In Asia , we can walk throw "The great Chinese Wall"

JANE EN NUESTRA CLASE

 Esta mañana , Jane nos ha vuelto a dar clase y nos lo hemos pasado genial, porque además de aprender mucho, también nos divertimos con ella.

HERE ARE OUR INSECT RECIPES!

                          Jane told us to make three recipes in groups, with cooked insects. These are the recipes. We hope you like them. We are not going to taste them!

HOW TO MAKE A JACK O´LANTERN

First of all, buy a pumpkin in the fruit shop. Then, take a knife and cut a circle at the top of the pumpkin. After that, take a spoon and empty the inside. Put the meat in a bag and freeze it.
Draw the eyes and the mouth lines and cut them.
If you want, you can decorate it with hats, spiders, hair...
To finish, introduce a candle inside and switch it on. You have your Jack O´Lantern. Enyoy it!

WELCOME TO THE NEW SCHOOL YEAR

Today is Friday, 13th September. It is a special day because we start a new school year and we are very happy. It is the end of a wonderful and hot summer, and the beginning of a new season: Autumn. The local swimming pool closed. Rain is going to start. The leaves of trees fall down and change their colours. Bushes move because there is strong wind. The days are shorter and nights are longer. We like Autumn a lot !

MICE WEDDING

We are performing in class a piece of theatre . It is very funny and its title is " Mice wedding". The main characters are two mice called Lucy and Benny. They are in love , but Lucy´s parents want she to marry the most powerful in the world.
First, they spoke with the Sun. After that, they spoke with the Cloud. Later , the Wind came, but the Wall stopped him.
Behind the Wall lived a brave mouse.

WOLF VOSTELL

Wolf Vostell was a contemporary artist. He was born on 14th October 1932 in Leverkusen, Germany. He painted many pictures that are in the Vostell museum in "The Barruecos Natural Surroundings".
He had got other types of pieces of art, each one with its meaning. He designed various works like a car with plates around, a wall fuel of motorbikes, a lot of tv screens in movement...
He loved the human being and used him in his works. He died in Berlín in 1998.

OUR TURTLE

We have got a turtle in class. Its name is Sissi. It has got a green shell. Its head is smaller than the little finger nail. Its eyes are as black as the night. Sissi has not got eye lashes. It is very small and lives in an aquarium in our class.
Sissi doesn,t eat leaves or fruits. It eats small prawns.
It,s an interesting and clever turtle. When we read poems in a loud voice, it listens carefully, but when we speak all together it hides its litle head.
Sissi is fantastic. It,s the most special turtle in the world
